About RBI
RBI Training is a player development program based out of Johnston, RI. At RBI we take pride in our player coach relationships as well as our player development. We enjoy giving ample opportunities to our young and established athletes to come and focus on their craft. While organizing both individual and group sessions, we are able to provide great exposure for our players. We all had the one coach in our career that helped shape us in one way or another. Our RBI coaching staff is put together by athletes that take pride in growing the game, building relationships, and giving back to our communities!
Ryan Pallotta (Owner)
Ryan Pallotta is the founder of RBI Training. He is a former baseball player at Rhode Island College while studying in Sports and Exercise Science, with a Minor in Coaching. Before joining the Anchormen, he graduated from North Providence High School. While playing for the Cougars Pallotta was a 2x team captain, earning 1st Team All Division honors hoisting a .368 batting average during his senior season.
He is cuurently the head coach of the North Providence 11U All Stars leading them to 3 consecutive district championship games in just his three seasons. He also serves as an assistant coach at Ricci Middle School in North Providence, RI. Ryan relates very well with all of his players because of his ability to instruct while making baseball enjoyable for his athletes, and building their love of the game. He enjoys the process of player development and the physical use of the body in sport. He is looking forward to building the RBI Training RI Program and helping contribute to the development of younger student athletes. Ryan is always looking for more clients to work with and is currently avaliable for private lessons and instructional classes!

Joe Coelho
Joe Coelho joins RBI Training as one of our new pitching coaches. Coelho is a graduate of Davies Career and Tech where he served as a 2x team captain and left handed pitcher for the schools baseball program.
He has spent the past 4 years in the coaching scene contributing in many roles. In 2021, Joe founded the Smithfield Baseball Club, a fall program for local players to compete in higher level baseball. There, he helped 6 players get to the collegiate level. Coelho has since worked in various roles within the RI Devils travel program. Coelho has been a heavy contributor at the helm of college recruiting, having since helped over 30 student athletes reach their goals of continuing their careers at the next level. He has hundreds of great college connections, and enjoys the new relationships the recruiting field has brought him with both coaches and players. He currently serves as the Varsity Head Coach at Times2 Academy in Providence, RI and previously served as the Head Coach at Hope Highlands Middle School in Cranston, RI.
Joe takes tremendous pride in player development and values his relationships with his players. Along with helping the program in many other ways, he will be avaliable for private pitching lessons starting in Spring 2025!

Anthony Mena
Pitching Coordinator
Mena is currently a 6' 5" RHP for Assumption University in Worcester, MA. The student athlete is entering his freshman year throwing for the Greyhounds while also studying marketing with a minor in sports management. Anthony has seen huge jumps in his velocity over the last couple of years and is poised for a big first season on the bump. He graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School in 2023 before doing a prep year at Putnam Science Academy. During his one season with the Mustangs he recorded 5 wins while posting 2.67 ERA including 2 No- Hitters.
Along with some of his player accolades, Anthony helped us instruct the Summer Camp just a few months ago and was definetly a player favorite. His consistent energy and passion for the game helped keep kids engaged and focused on the task at hand from drill to drill. We are definetely excited to have him on board!

Nason Gonell
Nason is currently a Freshamn at La Salle Academy in Providence, RI. Prior to playing for the Rams, Nason was a Captain and 3 year starter at Ricci MS. He takes pride in being a Student Athlete and is an extremly hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. Gonell is a Junior Coach on our RBI Staff while also assistant coaching the North Providence 11U All Stars. Nason helps instruct at all of our Classes, Clinics, and Summer Camps! All players love building relationships and learning from Nason as he makes the game enjoyable and brings tons of energy for all his athletes! Nason has been an awesome addition to our staff this year and we love having him working at the Facility. We look forward to seeing what this upcoming High School season has in store him!
Luci Walters
Head Softball Instructor
Luci is currently a Starting Pitcher at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. She is a Junior majoring in Marine Biology as well as minoring in Sport Studies. Prior to her first year with the Hawks, she played 2 seasons at Eastern Florida State College piling up 244 innings in the circle. She was the Deland High School (FL) MVP in 2023 and had since been a 2nd Team All Region Selection in Florida.
Some of her personal interests off the diamond include traveling and touring to other states as well as reading in her free time.
Luci brings tons of knowledge and experience to our Player Development Program and we cant wait to see the impact and relationships she builds with all of her athletes!
